You’re so over it. No more classes from home. No more Zoom links. No more social life from a phone in your bedroom. But if you wanna stay at school, you gotta avoid the Rona! Don’t get careless now.
HEADED HOME? STAY SAFE!
If you’re going home for your holiday break, keep going strong with those healthy behaviors. You don’t want to bring the Rona back home to meet your family, right? And you definitely don’t want to catch it while you’re there, bring it back to school with you and shut the whole thing down again.
If you want to stay at school, avoid the Rona:
Wear everywhere. Wash every day. Cover up that nose too, okay? Thanks, you’re the best.
Stay at least 6 feet from others. You can still be social. There’s no “I” in quaranteam.
Use soap and water and wash often. Sing “Happy Birthday” or wash for 20 seconds.
Stay home if you'RE feelING sick
Get tested and stay home if you feel sick. Don’t have friends over to hangout. Make sure to let your roommates know what’s going on so they can avoid the Rona, too.
Symptoms include fever (100.4° or higher), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, decrease in sense of smell or taste and/or muscle aches and pains.
When should I quarantine?
You should quarantine if you were exposed to someone with COVID-19, even if you’re not sick and don’t have symptoms. You may be asked to quarantine for 14 days if you’ve been exposed to the virus.
When should I isolate?
You’ll need to isolate if you are sick or have tested positive for COVID-19.
Rona got you feeling down?
It's been a tough year for all of us. If the Rona has you or someone you know feeling lonely or depressed, you're not alone. You can find helpful resources at liveonutah.org. Or call 1-800-273-8255 to speak to a licensed clinician. It's free and anonymous.
apartment or dorms
Don’t share items with roommates. Clean and disinfect your living space often (especially common areas).
Dining halls & cafeterias
Don’t share food, drinks, or utensils with others. Stick with grab-and-go options. Avoid buffets and self-serve stations.
Clean and disinfect appliances before you use them (this includes buttons and knobs on machines). Wash masks in the warmest water you can.
be careful out there
My friend told me about this guy who heard from a girl who said some other girl had to go into quarantine because she made out with a rando guy who had the Rona. Don’t take any chances.
