Safe. Summer. Fun
Finally. Summer is here. You’re more than ready for that warm weather and bright sunshine. And while COVID-19 is still part of our lives, you’re making safe choices and doing a great job. So, keep it up for tons of safe summer fun.
Keep these safe practices going strong:
Wear a mask
When you’re in public and close to others, it’s still safest to wear a mask. It also doubles as sunblock for your face.
Wash your hands
Whether you’re relaxing at the park or riding a roller coaster, keep those hands clean. Wash with soap and water for 20 seconds.
Physical distance
Sure, you’ll be having a blast near other people this summer. Just remember to maintain six feet of physical distance.
Get tested
Feeling sick? Get tested. It’ll give you peace of mind and help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Where can I get tested?
Get vaccinated
Why get the COVID-19 vaccine? Beyond protecting yourself this summer, here are a few reasons to consider:
You don’t have to worry about getting someone else sick.
You can hang out with friends who are vaccinated without masks.
You don’t have to quarantine or get tested unless you get symptoms (which is rare).
It’s effective.
The average seasonal flu vaccine is 40-60% effective and helps prevent a lot of sickness and death. COVID-19 vaccines can be up to 95% effective. That should be a weight off your shoulders as you plan for social summer activities.
Traveling is easier.
You may not need to fulfill any quarantine or testing requirements once you’ve been vaccinated. And you’ll rest easy knowing you’re protected wherever you go.
Get going
If you’re aching to get out and about for some summer traveling, be sure to follow the requirements wherever you’re headed.
