Situational briefings on the COVID-19 pandemic in Utah have been held regularly to update the media, along with the general public, on case count numbers, changes in executive order and other updates as the state navigate the pandemic.
With a move to moderate/low risk level (Orange/Yellow), these briefings have scaled back. This week (May 18-22) there will be just one broadcast briefing, which will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 1:30 pm.
Currently scheduled to speak at the briefing are Gov. Gary Herbert and Dr. Angela Dunn.
The conference will also be streamed live at www.facebook.com/GovGaryHerbert.
Situational briefings are subject to change based on scheduling and news of the day. A banner will be placed at the top of the coronavirus website approximately one hour before the briefing and during the briefing time to give adequate notice. Recordings of all situational briefings are available on Gov. Herbert’s Facebook page.
