Impact of Masks on the Economy

During Governor Herbert’s Monday briefing, Taylor Randall from the University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business spoke to the media about a recent study conducted exploring the impact of mask mandates on the economy.

The results of the study indicated that mask requirements can increase consumer confidence, which can lead to higher economic activity.
